Process →- 01 · Drawing review — Engineering review within one business day. We flag any feature that's ambiguous, unmanufacturable, or where a substitution would save the customer money.
- 02 · Quote — 24-hour quote with line-item pricing — raw material, cutting, heat-treatment, grinding, inspection. Customers see what they're paying for.
- 03 · PO + material — Customer PO confirmed. Material ordered from our steel partners the same day; typical bar-stock arrival in 3–5 days.
- 04 · Cutting — Turning, hobbing, milling per drawing. CNC programs reviewed by the plant manager before first cut.
- 05 · Heat treatment — Carburize / nitride / induction / quench-temper as the drawing demands. Heat-treatment record attached to part lot.
- 06 · Finish grinding — Tooth flank, bearing journal, mating surface ground to drawing tolerance — after heat treatment, so distortion is removed.
- 07 · Inspection — CMM dimensional check; gear-type parts verified on the gear inspection center for pitch, profile, lead and runout. Data archived in-plant by lot code as the shipment-release basis.
- 08 · Packaging + ship — Anti-corrosion oil, lot-coded labels, customer's preferred packaging spec. Air or sea freight to international destinations — DDP terms available.
Inspection equipment
Inspection →- PREC60 gear measuring center (Klingelnberg-type) — Single-setup check of pitch error, profile error, lead error, and runout. Class-5 verification possible on this machine alone.
- CMM — Ø 0–800 mm work envelope. For gear blanks, bores, concentricity, and general dimensional verification.
- Optical profile projector — Tooth-form / thread-form / chamfer / radius — quick optical verification.
- Surface-roughness tester (Mitutoyo SJ-410) — Ra · Rz · Rmax · waviness — checked on every ground surface.
- Hardness testers — Rockwell + Vickers + Brinell — Full coverage 20–70 HRC, plus HV / HB for niche cases.
- Magnetic-particle / dye-penetrant — Available on request for crack detection on high-load parts.
What gets tracked
Traceability →- 01 · Material — mill certificate — EN 10204 3.1 mill certificate on every part lot. Heat number traceable to the steel mill.
- 02 · Cutting record — CNC program version, operator ID, machine ID, date logged per part lot.
- 03 · Heat-treatment record — Furnace run number, temperature profile, hardness verification. Attached to lot.
- 04 · Grinding record — Tool wear log, in-process dimensional check.
- 05 · Inspection record — CMM trace + gear-inspection center output (for gears). Lot-coded.
- 06 · Shipment label — Lot code printed on each part label. Recall trace from label → part → all 5 records above.
