ISO 1328 · DIN 3962 · AGMA 2000 · JIS B 1702 — and how their classes map to each other.
Customers from different regions arrive with different tolerance languages. Wolfer cuts and inspects to ISO 1328 by default, and provides documented translations to DIN, AGMA, and JIS classes when the customer drawing specifies them.

Class translations are approximate — different standards measure pitch, profile, and lead error differently, so a perfect 1-to-1 map doesn't exist. For high-stakes orders we always cut to the customer's named standard and provide the inspection report in that standard's units.
Quality
Cylindrical gear accuracy — the modern international default. Classes 1 (highest) to 11 (lowest). Wolfer routinely produces ISO 1328 Class 5–8 gears.
German gear-tolerance system. Used by many European OEMs. Translates approximately to ISO 1328 Class 4–9.
Older American standard. Classes run Q1 (lowest) to Q15 (highest); maps roughly to ISO 1328 Class 11 down to Class 1.
Newer American replacement for AGMA 2000, with class definitions closer to ISO 1328. We translate either way for US customers.
Japanese standard — used by Japanese OEM customers and their Chinese subsidiaries. Maps closely to ISO 1328.
For non-standard module / pressure-angle gears, we accept KISSsoft or KHK design output as the input drawing.
