Elastic Pin Couplings: what size range does the table cover?

This page covers 3 series (LT, LX, LXZ) with 42 catalogue sizes: bores from Ø9 to Ø340 mm, rated torque 6.3–180 000 N·m. Finished bores, keyways and clamp variants are machined to your shaft; sizes outside the tables are made to drawing.

Elastic Pin Couplings: what is it and when should I use it?

Pin + elastomer sleeve (nylon) torque transfer: damps vibration, absorbs slight misalignment, easy sleeve replacement, low cost. LT type to GB/T 4323, LX type to GB/T 5014; LXZ brake-drum series in the table. Elastic pin couplings (LT to GB/T 4323, LX to GB/T 5014) are the economical general-purpose choice for medium and large motor drives: pins with nylon sleeves transmit torque, damp vibration and absorb slight misalignment, and the sleeves are cheap to replace. The LXZ version adds a brake drum.

Elastic Pin Couplings: can I order a size that is not in the table, or just one piece?

Yes. Everything on this page is made to drawing, and the table is only the standard-size subset of the catalogue. Minimum order quantity is one piece — we routinely make single replacement parts for OEMs whose original supplier has discontinued the item. Send a DWG, STEP or PDF drawing (or a sample part): you get a formal quotation within 24 hours after the information is complete, and the first article ships within 30 days of drawing approval, with inspection records.

Elastic Pin Couplings: what do I need to send to get a quote?

Send: shaft diameters and lengths on both sides (with keyways or clamp preference), rated and peak torque, speed, the misalignment you expect (angular, radial, axial), space available (outside diameter and overall length), operating temperature and whether the drive is servo/positioning or general. A drawing or STEP of the two shaft ends is ideal; a sketch with these values is enough for a first quote.
