Our Story

Wolfer was founded with one rule that has not changed: cut to the drawing. Catalog gear houses optimize for volume; we optimize for fidelity to the engineer who designed the part. That rule is why our customer list shifted from local industrial buyers in the late 2000s to international medical-robot and laser-equipment OEMs in the 2020s.

In 2007 Wolfer became a partner of KTR Germany. The relationship gave us early exposure to the German engineering tradition in precision couplings and shaft-hub connections, and laid the groundwork for our later keyless-bushing and shrink-disc lines. In 2008 we completed our first major rail-transit transmission project for the Guangzhou Metro — a demanding, high-responsibility job that turned quality control from process documents into daily habit.

In 2019, Wolfer Transmission Technology (Foshan) Co., Ltd. was established, scaling us from a single Guangzhou operation into a dual-base manufacturer with 9,000 m² of manufacturing capacity. Guangzhou Wolfer Mechanical & Electrical Equipment Co., Ltd. leads brand operations, engineering support and customer service; the Foshan plant handles gear cutting, heat treatment, inspection and delivery.
